Fans of Black Forest cake will certainly enjoy this cocktail which brings the flavors in liquid form. If unfamiliar with this desert favorite, the IWSA Black Forest cocktail provides the perfect balance of chocolate, cherry, and creme with your favorite Irish Whiskey. This works as a Valentine's Day treat or when you just need to satisfy that sweet tooth craving.
EQUIPMENT
- IWSA Cocktail Shaker

Martini Glass
INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz Blended Irish Whiskey
- 4 teaspoons Cherry Brandy
- 2 teaspoons brown creme de cacoa
- 1/2 teaspoon Kahula
- Double heavy cream
- Maraschino cherries
- Grated chocolate or cocoa powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place cherry in the glass
- Combine whiskey, brandy, creme de cacoa, & kahula in shaker with ice

Stir for 20 seconds then strain into the glass

Pour heavy cream over back of spoon onto top of drink
- Sprinkle grated chocolate or cocoa powder to garnish
