World Redhead Day is May 26th. Less than 2% of the world's population has natural red hair, with 10% of this unique group from Ireland. People with red hair have historically been stereotyped as witches or quick tempered. In recent years, annual festivals have been held to celebrate those with red locks. Whether you possess the "ginger" gene or not, you can go red with this Irish Whiskey Cocktail.
EQUIPMENT
- IWSA Cocktail Shaker

Highball Glass
INGREDIENTS
- 3 oz Irish Whiskey
- 3/4 oz grenadine
- 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/4 oz Lime Juice
- 5 oz Lemon-Lime soda
- Lime
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all the liquids in a shaker

Stir for 15 seconds
- Pour into glass with ice
- Garnish with lime wheel
