Bloomsday Virtual Tasting Event - June 2023

Celebrate Bloomsday June 16th with the Irish Whiskey Society America. We will hold a member virtual tasting featuring the Writers Tears Miniature Book Gift Pack.  On the day commemorating the James Joyce seminal work, we will enjoy the range of Irish Whiskeys inspired by esteemed 19th century Irish writers. 

Bloomsday is celebrated annually on June 16th, the same day encompassed in the story about Leopold Bloom in James Joyce's Ulysses.  Since the IWSA is an Irish Whiskey club and not a Book club, we will celebrate by enjoying three 50ml samples from the Writers' Tears range: Copper Pot, Double Oak, and 2020 Cask Strength. Those attending the virtual event will also receive Writers Tears merchandise including a flask, pen, and pin. 

Fresh off of our IWSA Member group trip to Dublin in May, we will share stories of our exploits around Ireland's capital, much like the story of Ulysses! Join us Friday June 16th at 8pm eastern to explore this unique Irish Whiskey brand which established its own category at the time of its launch in 2009.  It will be a great night to learn about the whiskey, discuss Dublin's role in literature and Irish Whiskey, and enjoy the craic!
