Powers Whiskey Day - John's Lane Distillery Tribute

Irish Whiskey Society America is proud to proclaim July 31st as Powers Whiskey Day in tribute to the closing of John's Lane Distillery. After remaining operational but idle for a year to ensure there were no issues with the new Midleton site, the iconic Dublin distillery officially closed the last day of July in 1976. 

On the 50 year anniversary, we honor the famous John's Lane Distillery with a celebration of Powers Irish Whiskey in a Live Virtual Event, Friday night at 8pm eastern. This inaugural Powers Whiskey Day will feature history and stories about the famous distillery along with samples of the brand's expressions. 

This event is for diehard Powers fans and those unfamiliar with the brand alike. For any uninitiated, you will become a believer and member of the Powers Posse. 

We are offering a special Powers package of 3 expressions for those who would like to partake but I know many will likely just draw from their own vast inventory. Just choose whether you would like the whiskeys or not at sign-up (Supplies are limited so if you have the expressions please consider leaving availability for others. Also, if you cannot attend the event live, please consider leaving the limited available packages for those who can.)
