The IWSA Mountjoy is a celebration of Irish and French cultures by way of New Orleans through Dublin. Based on the classic Vieux Carré cocktail from New Orleans, the Mountjoy offers an Irish twist. The original Vieux Carré originated in New Orleans in the 1930's. The cocktail combines American rye and French brandy and liqueur with some sweet Italian vermouth added to the mix.
