Halloween has its roots from Celtic Ireland (read our prior origin story here). In American culture, Halloween means costumes, candy, and horror stories. The IWSA Mountjoy is a celebration of Irish and French cultures by way of New Orleans through Dublin. Based on the classic Vieux Carré cocktail from New Orleans, the Mountjoy offers an Irish twist.  The original Vieux Carré originated in New Orleans in the 1930's.
